Terms of Service
Last updated: July 11, 2026
The agreement
By creating an account or using SoloDesks, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.
What SoloDesks is
SoloDesks is a tool for creating quotes, invoices, and job schedules. It is not an accounting, tax, or legal service, and nothing in the app is accounting, tax, or legal advice. You are responsible for the accuracy of every quote and invoice you send, and for meeting the tax and invoicing rules that apply to your business in your country.
Your account
- Keep your password private — you’re responsible for what happens under your login.
- You must be at least 16 and using SoloDesks for a real business purpose.
- One account is for one business. Don’t share accounts.
Your data
Everything you enter stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it only so the app can work for you (see the Privacy Policy). You confirm you have the right to store the client details you add.
Pro subscription
- Payments are handled by Paddle as the merchant of record; Paddle’s checkout terms apply to the purchase itself.
- You can cancel any time. Pro features stay active until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
- If a subscription lapses, your data is kept — you just lose the Pro-only features until you resubscribe.
Fair use
Don’t use SoloDesks to send spam, create fraudulent invoices, store unlawful content, attempt to break into other accounts, or overload the service. We may suspend or close accounts that do.
No warranty
SoloDesks is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We work hard to keep it fast and reliable, but we can’t promise it will always be available, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose. Keep your own copies of documents that matter (every PDF you generate can be saved to your device).
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, SoloDesks and its operator are not liable for lost profits, lost data, missed jobs, disputes with your clients, or any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim — or $10 if you use the free plan.
Ending the service
You can stop using SoloDesks and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms, and if we ever discontinue the service we’ll give reasonable notice so you can export your documents.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we’ll update this page and the date at the top. Continuing to use SoloDesks after a change means you accept the new terms.
